Quinta da Revolta is located in Campanha, in the city of Oporto. It was built between the 17th and 18th century and was the summer home of one of the great families of Oporto. It's somewhat quirky name is thought to be attributed to a riot that took place during it's construction. After being left by the Viscount of Balermao, to his brother, the property was bought by Alfredo Moreira da Silva in 1918, whose family still own the Quinta today. The 2002 LBV has a deep, inky colour. The nose displays bright berry fruits with a violet lift. On the palate the wine is still maturing but is ready for drinking right away or could be given a few more years to mature even further. Packed in a gift box. Send us your personal message and we'll pack it with your gift for free.
